This parenting programme considers how parents connect with and build good relationships with their child. Through use of facilitator input and guided discussions the course aims to teach parents the skills of effective communication and conflict resolution. Topics include : Positive Communication, Coping with Negative Behaviour, Managing Conflict, Encouraging Positive Behaviour, Discipline, Self Esteem, Sex Education, Self Care.
This programme is facilitated by a Parenting Counsellor from SouthWest Counselling Centre, Killarney.
